When an individual is really free, he is able to be anything.

An individual in good shape can play any role and continues to know he is playing a role, even though he is playing it with complete sincerity. He knows it’s a game and he can enjoy the game. He can be a real good private; he can be a real good king. When he’s playing the role of a private, he plays the role of a private. And when he plays the role of a king, he can play the role of a king. And if as a private, he feels that his rights are being encroached on as a private and he should do so-and-so about them, he should be able to do that with verve.
